'07 Pontiac G5. 2.2L Ecotec.

Question: Check engine light codes came out as P0446(Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent System Performance), P0121(Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Performance) and P0102 (Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency) - mechanic cannot get the throttle body, dealer cannot get throttle body.

2007 Pontiac G5. Question: Is the answer free. We have signal lights but it doesn't make the sound of the light.

Answer: I am not really sure what you are asking. If you mean that the turn signal lights turn on but do not blink, then you may have a problem with the Body Control Module (BCM).

Car and Truck Fuel System Operation

The fuel tank stores the fuel supply. The electric fuel pump, supplies fuel through an in-line fuel filter to the fuel injection system. The fuel pump provides fuel at a higher rate of flow than is needed by the fuel injection system. The fuel pressure regulator maintains the correct fuel pressure to the fuel injection system. A separate pipe returns unused fuel to the fuel tank.

Oxygen Sensor Code P0036 and P0056

P0036 - P0056
Heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) are used for fuel control and post catalyst monitoring. Each HO2S compares the oxygen content of the surrounding air with the oxygen content in the exhaust stream. The HO2S must reach operating temperature to provide an accurate voltage signal. A heating element inside the HO2S minimizes the time required for the sensor to reach operating temperature.
