2012 4 cyl chevy equinox oil consumption

Just purchased a 2012 2.4 l equinox im not having any problems with the vehicle but did notice on line that the 2010 equinox 2.4l had multiple complaints about oil consumption does anyone know if this was an issue (defect) that was resolved in the 2012 motor Thanks Gary

As far as i have seen or read, there are really no complaints of oil consumption problems on the newer Chevy Equinox. There were some on the years you were talking about but not actually that many. We have not had any in our shop at all actually.
