Wiper Won't Shut Off in My 2006 Chevy Impala

Chevy Impala 2006. Engine Size : 3.5
Question Here: The wipers are always staying on on this car, even when we shut the wipers and ignition off. Any suggestions?

Answer: You've most likely got a shorted out wiper motor. It could be the switch, but only rarely have seen problem with the switches on your vehicle. You could pull the fuse, which is located in the under hood fuse block to stop the wipers from killing your battery. You'd have to remove the wiper blades and arms, and the cowl trim to access the wiper motor/wiper transmission. It removes as a unit and then the motor can be changed out. The park arm mechanism has to be timed correctly so the wipers park in the correct position.
