I have a 2003/2004 impala i was driving it on the high way the other day and when i started accelerating, it gave me trouble like it was tugging my car and the faster i tried to go it wouldn't want to go or keep up, so while that happened

My 2006 Chevy Impala was recently wrecked on the driver side and now my driver aide tail light wont work. I have checked the bulb and the fuses and they are both good. It worked before it was wrecked but now doesnt.

i have 2005 Impala the thermostat was stuck to where it would instantly overheat. I just filled up with water and antifreeze and a few miles down the road it went into limp mode then made a weird ticking noise

My car is overheating. And keep melting the overflow tank. I don't know what to do anymore. Thermostat been changed. I need help with this please.

Security light on 2003 Chevy Impala Issues with the Security light & car not starting. At times, it acts as if the car is possessed! We have had luck with turning the key into the start position & waiting 10 minutes & starting again. Yesterday after work, that did not work. I tried that 3 times with no luck. While waiting for a ride home, I tried turning the key one more time & the car started right off. Started this morning & when I left for lunch.

Question: My wife had a remote car starter installed about 3 weeks ago. 2 days ago there was a meltdown in the engine compartment. There was a ground wire attached to the fuse box near the battery that melted and melted some of the plastic sheeting around some of the wire harnesses (this wire goes from the ground on the fuse box along the fire wall and into the main car compartment via a hole near the steering column.

2005 Chevy Impala. Question: The Temperature Gage goes pass the 220 mark and kicks down, but when turning the heater on, does not give out heat. It has to jump up several times pass the 220 mark before throwing out heat in the car. I had the car tested and it came back with the po122 reading. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

Question: Why can't I get the shifter to move from Park to drive or reverse. It is a floor shifter. My 2006 Chevrolet Impala won't shift out of Park gear. I turn the key and stepped on the brake like always do, press the button on the shifter and try to move it. It won't budge. The button barely even moves in when I press it.

2001 Chevy Impala 3.8 V6. Check engine light. Misfire on cylinder 6. Repairs: Changed plugs wires and coil pack for that cylinder. Also changed air filter.

Question: 2001 Chevy Impala and am having problems with it off and on. It starts with the anti lock brakes activating on there own and sometimes it stops. Other times it will kick on the traction system and the ABS light will come on. You can feel the brakes dragging when it happens. Doesn't happen all the time but seems to be happening more often now. Twice the engine oil level low has come on.i use Valvoline 5w-30 full synthetic oil and change oil and filter every 5,000 miles.there are no external leaks. what is causing this problem?

Is the oil level actually low or not?

1st: the radio will not play; It seems there is a loose connection in the speaker wires. The radio is on and it lights up, but the lryics, station and message info comes on. Every once in awhile the radio starts playing for a short time- two to twenty minutes.

2nd: The water temperature gauge and A/C compressor quit working. The weather seems to be a factor when high moisture. I was thinking there may be a terminal connection that could be loose, corroded or both that have all these things in common.

2003 Chevy Impala 3400 V6. I've been hearing a vibrating sound or grinding sound when i first push the gas pedal. it used to happen every once in a while and now its doing it more often. a couple weeks ago i pushed the gas and the grinding sound came on, then the service traction system light stayed on.

Changed filter. dropped base pan and looked at oil pump. The oil filter seal blew out. replaced filter and the same thing happened. last oil change was 5000kms ago.seems to be building pressure. seal blows out in about 8 to 10 seconds.

Problem with my 2006 Chevrolet Impala LS V6 Service battery charging system. Question: The car would not start or even turn over. I tried battery charger overnight, but it was still showing less than 12 volts although it did start. It is my elderly neighbors car and they insisted that they wanted to go ahead and get a new battery. I got a new battery for them and changed it out.
